The Metal Art Motorcycle Silhouette series are small square and rectangular arrangements of color on metal mounted on wood art panels. Each piece is painted, patina'd, cut, sometimes welded and layered together to create little art pieces that can be displayed on their own or mixed and matched into small groupings.
Along with my own fascination in what the image of a motorcycle represents, I wanted to create something for the moto aficionado. A bike in the garage and a picture of it on the wall...
