“Tundra” is created from steel, paint and patina. Resists and paints are applied to the metal and allowed to dry. Patinas are applied next and allowed to work their magic in the voided paint areas. Each piece is then finished with a satin sheen and waxed. Inspired by the wintery storms and frozen lakes were I grew up in central NY.
